Housebreaker apprehended in Park Rynie

The man was tracked down near the graveyard and arrested.

The Park Rynie community united last week when they helped police officials and security companies track down house breakers.

A home was broken into in Fourth Street, Park Rynie at about 11.50am on October 30.

“The intruder forced the door open and gained entry into the premises,” said Port Shepstone communications officer, Captain Petros Mpinge.

The house-breaker, having fled the scene, was tracked down near the Park Rynie graveyard, where he was arrested by Saps and Gladiator Security officials. Stolen items include two laptops and radio.
