Umzinto burglars behind bars

These criminals have been linked to several cases and investigations will continue to determine if they have been involved in other criminal activities.

Two men, aged 23 and 29, have been arrested by members of the Umzinto Saps.

“They have been linked to several cases and investigations will continue to determine if they have been involved in other criminal activities,” said Port Shepstone Saps communications officer, Captain Petros Mpinge.

Police recovered stolen property and have charged a third party with purchasing or receiving stolen property.

The two suspects have appeared in the Scottburgh Magistrate’s Court.

They were remanded back into custody for bail application. The Umzinto Saps are expecting to make more arrests.
