Scottburgh to host offshore oil and gas drilling meeting

Anyone interested in learning more about the concerns and effects of gas and oil drilling are invited to attend the meeting.

THE South Durban Community Environmental Alliance (SDCEA) will be discussing the impacts of offshore oil and gas drilling which is proposed to take place off the coast of KwaZulu-Natal.

The meeting will be held at the Scottburgh High School hall, 41 Allen Road, Scottburgh this Saturday, November 24 at 3pm.

Members of the community who are interested in learning more about the concerns and effects of gas and oil drilling are invited to attend the meeting.

There are no costs involved and a free screening of the film, Becoming Visible, by Janet Solomon will be shown as well.
