AN elderly man (69) was found dead in the shower of his Margate home last Thursday.
“Friends and neighbours became concerned after they had not seen the man for several days,” said police spokesman, Captain Petros Mpinge.

“A friend had the landlord unlock the door and the man was found with a gunshot wound to the head.”
The man’s identity will not be released until the next of kin have been informed. A post-mortem will be conducted.
An inquest docket has been opened at Margate police station.
