Tea was a fashionable affair

Guests got a peek at upcoming fashion trends.

A heady mix of fashionable and colourful garments, the work of top South African designers, together with many style enthusiasts and several local models, set the scene at the ‘Fashionable Lunch’ at Bay Tree Home and Decor at Southcoast Mall last Saturday.

Purple House boutique’s own imported brands were also included.

Guests got the chance to socialise, listen to some good music and, most importantly, catch a glimpse of the upcoming fashion trends from designers. They also tucked into a fresh quiche, salad, delicious cake and a cup of coffee.

It came as no surprise that the social side of things ended up being as awesome as the fashion show itself.

Displaying the latest fashion trends are Simangele Khawula (left) and Ntombi Ntusi.

Organiser Cynthia Taylor said the event sprang from a love of fashion and a desire to provide designers with much-needed exposure.
