Rotary goes Asian to raise funds
The event is an annual one, featuring cuisine from around the world.
The Rotary Club of Shelly Beach in conjunction with Umthunzi Hotel and Conference held a fantastic ‘Taste of Asia’ evening last Friday.
Live entertainment was provided by talented local band, The Gentry.

All funds raised from ticket sales will be given to Rotary and its Global Polio Eradication Initiative.
Pete Theunissen and his wife, Yvonne of Sea Park won the best dressed prize, sponsored by Umthunzi.
Kenny Naidoo, president of the Rotary Club of Shelly Beach, said it was an excellent evening.
“It was a good networking opportunity. It’s an annual themed event, with Mexico featuring last year,” he said.
