Dinner dance was a sparkling affair

Durban band San Productions' great sounds had the dance floor packed.

The Shree Hanuman Sanathan Dharma Sabha Mandir’s dinner and dance at the Marburg Secondary School hall last Saturday was a good excuse to forget the festive season braais and enjoy an evening of glitz and glamour.

Music was provided by Durban-based eastern band San Productions and versatile singer Abdul Rahim Rassool. Their great sounds soon had the dance floor packed, and the delicious meal ensured that revellers were well fed.

“We plan to hold similar events in the future and we encourage South Coasters to join in,” said Shree Hanuman Sanathan Dharma Sabha Mandir chairman Veena Lakhan.

Proceeds from the event will go towards the temple hall.
