A man was attacked at a house in Margate Ext 3 last night (Friday), leaving him in critical condition.
According to police spokesman Sergeant Sibu Ncane, an attempted murder docket has been opened after the incident, which occurred in Tedder Avenue at around 10pm.

“It is alleged that two men, aged 30 and 19 years respectively, became involved in an argument with a woman known to them. When the argument became heated, a 28-year-old man who was with the woman attempted to intervene. The two men turned on him; one of them shot him in the head and stabbed him in the back.”
No arrests have been made.
