A Hibberdene couple was awoken by armed intruders in their Edward Drive home during the early hours of Monday morning this week.

“The intruders forced the door open and threatened the couple with a knife. They stabbed the man in the knee before taking jewellery and cash and fleeing,” said police spokesman, Captain Petros Mpinge.
No arrests have been made.
