Breaking: Farm murder shocks coast

Exact details of the attack are still awaited.

A FARMER, aged 71, was found dead on his farm in an area near Ifafa and Hibberdene at about 9.30am.

That’s according to police spokesman Sergeant Sibu Ncane.

The man was found dead with his hands tied behind his back.

It is believed the house was ransacked by the attackers, and a gun stolen.

“The exact motive for the killing is still unknown at this stage. Police are investigating a case of murder. No arrests have made yet,” said Sgt Ncane.

POLICE are on scene of a farm attack, a few kilometres inland of  Ifafa, near Scottburgh.

A farmer has been killed in the attack, which apparently took place last night sometime.

The man was allegedly found by a neighbour this morning.

A full police report is awaited.
