Stabbed man dies on side of road

One arrest has already been made.

A MAN, aged 36 years old, was found dead on the side of the road in a street in Uvongo yesterday morning.

“The man was found with a stab wound to his stomach,” said police spokesman Sergeant Sibu Ncane.

“Police responded to the incident, which occurred at about 2.30am.”

Subsequent investigations by police led to the arrest of a man, aged 55 years old, at a farm compound nearby.

He is due to appear in the Ramsgate Magistrate’s Court tomorrow (Monday 11th).
