A mother of three died after she was stabbed at a tavern in Mhlalandlini Ward, Gcilima last Friday night.
The man (28) suspected of being involved in the incident is out on parole after serving five years for murder.

“A man was causing a disturbance and as a result, he was removed from the tavern. He later returned and stabbed the 25-year-old woman without saying a word. As he walked out of the tavern he stabbed two men.
“The woman died at the scene while the other two victims were taken to the Gcilima Clinic,” said police spokesman, Captain Petros Mpinge.
Police arrested the suspect the following afternoon. He was charged with murder, attempted murder and assault/grievous bodily harm.
He appeared in the Ramsgate Court where the case was postponed for further investigation.
