Career expo in Umkomaas for matrics
This event is targeting Grade 12 pupils from rural areas, townships and informal settlements with the aim of exposing pupils to information and options.
Protec Umkomaas will be holding a career expo at Naidooville Primary, Umkomaas on May 4 from 9am to 12 noon.
This event is targeting Grade 12 pupils from rural areas, townships and informal settlements with the aim of exposing pupils to information and options that are available to them on completing Grade 12. This is done to encourage and inspire pupils to work hard at school and to help them better their lives.
Eleven schools are expected to attend the expo. Tertiary institutions, engineering companies, and banks will be exhibiting at the expo providing relevant and comprehensive information to pupils who will then be able to make an informed decision on which career path to follow.

Pupils will be in a position to garner information on learnerships, apprenticeships, scholarships, bursaries, entrepreneurship and different trades that will appeal to them.
Exhibitors will be providing application forms, information brochures and other material to interested pupils. All Grade 12 learners, educators and parents are invited to attend.
