Church group visits young patients

The sweet treats were much appreciated.

It is no fun for young patients to be stuck in hospital, especially over the Easter weekend when their peers are out and about on egg hunts.

To brighten their lives, a group of women from the Trafalgar Presbyterian Church, armed with baskets of Easter treats visited Margate Netcare Hospital where they handed out chocolate eggs to the patients and staff.

The gesture was well received and the smiles of faces of the little ones made the trip well worth it and hopefully speeded up their recovery.
