Port Shepstone Senior Primary’s junior assembly last Friday was addressed by local attorney, Jayenthrie Moodley, who conveyed an inspiring and thought-provoking message about South Africa’s Freedom Day, now that we are 25 years into democracy.

Due to the inclement weather, many of the sporting fixtures were cancelled. However, two pupils travelled to Durban to represent the Ugu District at the KZN hockey trials.
Shayden Gouveia took part in the senior boys’ trials last Thursday and thoroughly enjoyed the challenging matches.
Aphiwe Chiliza took part in the senior girls’ trials last Friday and was chosen to go through to the final team selections this Sunday. Congratulations, Aphiwe.
