Sheppie Snippets: Art of Living opens new home

The foundation has centres in more than 156 countries.

The Art of Living family in Port Shepstone invites everyone to the opening ceremony of its new premises at 29 Ferndale Road, Palmview this Sunday, May 12 at 8am.

The Art of Living Foundation is a volunteer-based, humanitarian and educational non-governmental organisation which was founded in 1981 by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

Prayer

The Shree Hanuman Sanathan Dharma Sabha Mandir will hold its Lord Narsimha Puja at the temple on Saturday, May 11 at 2.30pm. Officiating priest is Pundit Narotam Das. All are welcome and supper will be served. For further information contact Veena at 067 0688282.

Temple prayer

The Umzimkulwana Shri Siva Soobramoniar Temple will hold its Ganga Ammen prayer on Sunday, May 19. The prayer will start at the Umzimkulwana River at 8.30am proceeding to the temple. All are welcome. For further information contact 079 5920490.

Temple meeting

The Port Shepstone Tamil Association will hold its special general meeting at the temple hall on May 22 at 6.30pm. For further information contact Radha Moodley at 071 4835568.

Fun ride

Genesis Youth will present the Izimbila Enduro Fun Ride on Saturday, May 25. It will start and finish on the rugby field at Norwegian Settlers’ Church. Entry fee is R200 per rider and R100 for riders under the age of 14.

Quiz night
