Red carpet rolled out for new Wild Coast Sun manager

He is hugely passionate about South Africa as a destination and looks upon the Eastern Cape as an undiscovered wonderland in respect of its natural beauty, product and people.

There’s a new general manager at the Wild Coast Sun Hotel and Casino Resort.

His name is Peter Tshidi and he says he is up for the challenge.

He takes over the reins from former general manager, Myan Moodley who has been appointed general manager of Sibaya Casino and Resort in Durban.

Mr Tshidi (41) who has 22 years’ experience in local and international hotel operations, retail, operations management and casino operations under his belt, is a keen sportsman and enjoys running, surfing and football.

He supports the Sharks and EP Kings in rugby and Sundowns and Arsenal on the soccer field.

Mr Tshidi started his career in the hospitality industry at the Palace Hotel at Sun City and sees himself as the custodian of the significant provincial tourism asset that is the Wild Coast Sun.

He is hugely passionate about South Africa as a destination and looks upon the Eastern Cape as an undiscovered wonderland in respect of its natural beauty, product and people.

He is devoted to community upliftment.

Mr Tshidi was born in Ga-Rankuwa, Pretoria and has three children – a daughter and two sons – who live in Ireland.

“My greatest work achievement is yet to come but I am always looking to achieve more tomorrow than I did today,” he said.
