OPINION: ‘Concern over application to construct church’

Anyone wishing to receive further information about the proposed development, is requested to register an I & AP (interested and affected party).

DEAR Editor:

Recently a number of ‘notices’, in the form of paper attached to trees, in the area just to the north of Minerva Avenue, have informed the passer-by that an application has been received to construct a church in the green open land that lies just west of Bermuda Way.

Anyone wishing to receive further information about the proposed development, is requested to register an I & AP (interested and affected party) at the following email address admin@green-scene.co.za.

There must be a number of serious objections possible to this proposal, and it makes one think that the way in which this notice has been given, that others do realise that this could be the case.

Therefore an urgent request goes out to all residents living in the area, to register at the indicated email address, and to urgently find out more about this plan, before yet another plan ‘slips under the radar’ and it is too late to raise objections.
