Get these Sheppie High boys to the Netherlands

A fun walk is being held at the Burry Stander Bike Park this coming Saturday to help the boys raise funds for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Three Port Shepstone High pupils, Cameron de Vries, Khaya Ngcobo and Marko Thom have been given an opportunity by Vision Sport South Africa to travel with other young hockey players to the Netherlands in December this year.

As an initiative to raise funds, the boys have organised a fun walk at the Burry Stander Bike Park for this Saturday, May 18, starting at 10am.

Entrance is R25 for adults and children under three are free.

There will be a flea market and food and cold drinks will be available. For those interested in hosting a stall at the market the fee will be R100 per table.

The three pupils have come such a long way in their hockey, from school to district to provincial level.

They have spent endless hours putting in the time and energy required to strengthen their skills.

It would be wonderful to give them the opportunity to travel and learn more about themselves and the world while improving their game at the same time.
