Some will take their tops off at this show

The show is a must-visit for classic car enthusiasts who can drool over the dream machines and grand automobiles and bikes while raising money for local charities.

If snazzy sports cars get you revved up – read on. The organisers of the 10th Scottburgh Classic Car Show (SCCS) have invited more than 30 classic car and motorcycle clubs to this year’s milestone event. It takes place in the grounds of Scottburgh High School and the date to save is Sunday, July 7.

The show is a must-visit for classic car enthusiasts who can drool over the dream machines and grand automobiles and bikes while raising money for local charities. “A different marque is featured annually and this year, MG has been chosen to lead the show. These iconic sports cars will have pride of place in front of the main grandstand and parade driveway. There will be several moving parades throughout the day but the first parade will be for MGs with a running commentary describing the marque’s development over the years,” explained Peter Fielding who has been running the show since its inception.

Another highlight will be the unique `Fun and Fashion Parade’ which will offer a little mirth and a touch of glamour along with the motor vehicles.

Entertainment will be provided by dancers and models from KSG Productions who will be dressed by local fashion house Lethy Bridal Shop in Umzinto.
