Garage sale raises funds for church

All the goodies up for sale at the garage sale hosted by Mount Moriah Full Gospel Church at the Marburg pool parking lot disappeared fast last Saturday. Church volunteers helped to set up tables, display items and assist people load the items they had bought from early morning.

Pastor Lenny Soobramoney of the Mount Moriah Full Gospel Church said people were excited about the  sale.

“The sale contained many items ranging from toys to home goods and all goodies in between. The community has been phenomenal in supporting our cause and the proceeds from this event will go towards the building fund for our church,” he said.
