Applications sought for mentorship programme
Lamola Foundation will engage closely with fellows who have been selected to participate in a high school to post matric journey of leadership development and support them through a one-on-one mentoring and coaching.
Lamola Foundation seeks 30 young pupils to become part of its mentorship programme this year.
Applications are invited from pupils from Grade 10 to Grade 12, who reside and attend high schools within the KwaNdwalane area.

The programme prepares young pupils to be strategic leaders of tomorrow in their respective fields.
Lamola Foundation is non-profit organisation.
It was founded by Mthokozisi Bhengu, who was born and bred from Bhobhoyi, near Port Shepstone.
He is now based in Johannesburg but travels extensively to ensure his projects succeed, as he is eager to give back.
“We seek to place pupils who are ambitious and committed in their school work,” said Mthokozisi Bhengu, who has a strong desire to give back to the local community. The hope is to give high priority to those from disadvantaged backgrounds.”

The programme includes three educational camp per year, one scheduled this winter holiday, in June.
It boasts with an impressive array of distinguished leaders as guest speakers.
These are intensive interactive workshops, with team building exercises and continuous mentorship a high priority.
Lamola Foundation’s mission and vision is to develop the youth into the leaders of tomorrow.
“We seek to empower the youth to learn to meet their own personal and social needs and contribute positively to the community. We have launched a series of annual events, to be held in the KwaNdwalwane and Ugu district areas.”
The core focus is spiritual revival, mentorship, education and leadership enrichment, financial management and legal aspects, physical and mental wellness, plus entrepreneurship.
Applicants may send a motivational letter, stating why they should be considered, along with two contactable references, including one from the school.
A head-and-shoulders picture must also be attached.
