Exhilarating experience

Umtamvuna scribe Philippa Makepeace has been on a wonderful trip to the Kruger National Park recently. On the way back, she visited the Blaauboschkraal stone ruins, also known as Adam’s Calendar, a provincial heritage site in Waterval Boven, Mpumalanga. The site was originally declared a national monument on April 18, 1975, and is a series of stones believed to be the oldest man-made structure on Earth. It is also sometimes referred to as ‘Africa’s Stonehenge’.

The good news is that Philippa will be back next week and news can be sent to her as usual.
