JUST IN: Truck hijacked near Umzumbe

One of the suspects is armed. 

Police are searching for a tipper truck that was hijacked while being used to collecting a load of stone in the Fairview area yesterday at about 3pm.
According to information received the vehicle last seen travelling north on the R102 beyond the Umzumbe bridge.
An alert was posted and the search began between numerous law enforcement agencies but no success as of yet.
It is alleged that there are two suspects involved.
Apparently, one of the men is light in complexion, with short hair.
He was wearing formal attire – a brown short sleeve shirt and long pants. He was unarmed.
The second man has been described as roughly 1.8m in height suspect, thickset, a dark complexion, with braided, shoulder length hair.
He is believed to armed with a handgun.
It is alleged that various personal items were stolen as well.
Police are investigating.
