It has been an extremely busy week for pupils at Jai Hind Primary.
Shaista Shaik, Syain Moonsamy and Sidima Salman took part in the recent Department of Education (DOE) spellathon.

Entrants gave a good account of themselves and reached the finals, where they narrowly lost to the opposition.
Excited gr 2 pupils went on a fun excursion to the movies at Shelly Centre and for a picnic at the park afterwards.
The school is proud to be a winner of the beach clean-up held by Hope on the Move last week.
Congratulations to teacher Sally Kavanagh and her team for winning a much-needed 5 000 litre water tank for the school.
U12 and U14 volleyball teams entered the recent schools’ KO Championships.
The boys’ teams won their respective divisions and the girl’s U14 team were runners-up.
The school is proud to be placed first overall.
