Excellent soccer from Esizibeni High
Soccer teams from a number of high schools in Magabheni and surrounding areas competed against one another for first place.
Excellentoh Entertainment Tours presented the first ever Excellentoh Schools Tournament at the Magabheni Sports Ground last weekend.
Soccer teams from a number of high schools in the area competed against one another for first place.
This included teams from Sidelile, Umcothoyl, Esizibeni and Umnganiwakhe high schools.
Esizibeni High took home the trophy and a R4000. Each player was presented with a gold medal.

The runner-up was Sidelile High, with the team winning R1000 and players getting silver medals.
Sphiwe Cele of Excellentoh Entertainment Tours stated that this was only the first school sports tournament that it has hosted, but seeing that there was such a good turnout he hopes to make it an annual event.
“It’s good to keep our youngsters occupied with these kinds of events instead of them getting up to mischief elsewhere,” he said.
The pupils thanked Excellentoh Entertainment for the fun day.
