Passenger dies in accident near Braemar

A bakkie and a sedan collided on the R612 near Braemar on Tuesday, May 28 at approximately 9pm.

“Sawoti Saps Sergeants Wiseman Shozi and Sthembile Mtolo found one of the passengers had already died,” said Scottburgh Saps communications officer, Captain Adam Francis.

Both the drivers and two other passengers were injured.

All were treated by paramedics before being transported to GJ Crookes Hospital.

A case of culpable homicide is being investigated by Detective Constable Msanelo Mchunu.
