High tea raises funds for rare diseases

Guests enjoyed socialising and relaxing in good company.

The ‘Hope on the Move High Tea’ at Margate Hotel last Saturday was well supported.

Organised by the non-profit organisation Hope on the Move, the event raised funds for Rare Diseases SA.

Guests could not help but be impressed by the decor and setting of the function area. The high tea was opened with a prayer in remembrance of all those that had passed on, survivors, caregivers and all those still battling rare diseases.

Guest speakers, entertainment, refreshments, pampering, super prizes and entertainment by local musician Jesse James all formed part of the afternoon’s activities. Part of proceeds from the event will go to Rare Diseases SA.
