The Ugu Athletics Club gathered at RA Engar Primary on Wednesday this week for a pasta party. Doctor Thula Siluma from Shelly Beach gave a comprehensive medical plan to ensure the safety and well being of runners who are taking part.

Chairman and veteran runner Pardon Mathebula also gave advice to the club’s runners. Athletes exchanged stories from previous years  and shared the times they are hoping to achieve.

The club will be represented by 35 runners. The highlight of the meeting was the buffet of pasta for supper. Runners tucked in to the feast in preparation for the tough run.
