Merlewood Primary pupils Esethu Cele (gr 7), Olwethu Mpambane (gr 5) and Ayabonga Mbili (gr 4) attended a science camp last weekend.
Approximately 50 pupils from Ugu and Harry Gwala District were invited and attendees were briefed on the upcoming science expo.

They were advised on choosing categories, how to write their hypothesis, as well as how the competition will be judged.
There was however time for some fun as well and they took part in many challenging activities such as the zip-line.
Appreciation is extended to the organisers for this initiative and pupils are looking forward to the competition.
Parents are reminded that the June exam have commenced and pupil studies must be supervised.
All pupils have been issued with an exam timetable.
