Southcity rugby teams excel on the field

The school is very proud of the hockey players who will take part at inter-provincial tournaments during June/July.

Southcity Christian School’s junior primary boys played their first rugby matches ever at Suid-Natal Primary and fared exceptionally well.

Teams played against Warner Beach, Port Natal A and B, Suid-Natal B and Kuswag A.

The gr 3 A team beat Suid-Natal’s B team, Port Natal’s B team and Warner Beach, drew to Port Natal’s A team and lost to Kuswag.

Gr 2 A team beat Port Natal, Warner Beach, and Kuswag and drew to Suid-Natal.

Gr 1 A team beat Port Edward, lost one and drew one to Suid-Natal and lost to Kuswag.

Congratulations to boys Axel Anthony (U14), Nkazimlo Mpumlwana (U14), Christopher Naranjo (U14) and Joshua Jansen van Rensburg (U14), Seth Nero (U16), Lelethu Mnisi (U18), Phumelela Shezi (U18) and Gareth Pieterse (U18), and girls Anelisa Dlongolo (U16), McKayla du Bruyn (U18), Sarah-Joy Pringle (U18) and Rebecca Nero (U18) who have made the final KZN Coastal Country district hockey team. They will take part at inter-provincial tournaments during June/July.
