Pets visit Curro Creston for a day

There were dogs of all different sizes, a terrapin, a bunny, a leopard gecko, a bird and even a ferret.

Curro Creston College’s gr 1 pupils were allowed to bring their pets to school last week.

There were dogs of all different sizes, a terrapin, a bunny, a leopard gecko, a bird and even a ferret.

They also went on an excursion to the Lower South Coast SPCA with teacher Natalie Hughes for an informal educational talk.

Pupils played with some of the animals that are available for adoption and even had the opportunity to brush some of the grateful doggies.

As usual, ‘Patches’ the permanent resident cat loved all the attention from the children.

The SPCA extends a very big thank you for the welcome donations of much-needed dog and cat food – the animals will love all the treats.
