A feast of flavours was on offer at food fair
The event enticed talented people to explore their culinary skills.
Visitors were treated to a vertitable feast of flavours at Christ the King Catholic Church’s International Food Festival at St Martin de Porres school grounds last Saturday, People came out in their numbers as the mouth-watering aromas drifted over Port Shepstone.

Food festival organising committee member, Shanti Nanack, said the event attracted some very talented people who loved to explore their cooking skills. “It brought different nationalities and cuisines into the kitchen. Apart from the various edible delights available for sampling, there was also a tea garden,” explained Mrs Nanack.

She said the festival is one of the highlights on the South Coast’s culinary calendar with its fusion of foods and great entertainment. “The growth of our satisfied festival patrons is testament to our unique recipe.”

Visitors could work off the calories by taking part in the many games on offer or simply kick back and relax and listen to mellow live music. The weather played along and enticed those who attended to make the most the festival.
