Lutron offers smart solutions

As of June 2019, the company will also be a Level 1 BEE compliant supplier.

Lutron is an international company that offers innovative technology to provide clever solutions for smart homes. When Lutron opened in Durban in 1995, its primary focus was on aerial installations.

Over the last 24 years, Lutron has grown to become one of the premier suppliers in Amanzimtoti and surrounding areas with design, installation and maintenance of high-end access control, gate automation, CCTV solutions, audio visual installations and satellite systems.

This growth is largely due to the hard work and dedication of Llewellyn Veldtman who recently emigrated to Australia to open Lutron Australia with new shareholders who have come on board to drive the business forward. Their mandate is to maintain quality standards without compromising on the personal touch.

Jeron Naidoo, who has been with the Durban-based company for many years as primary technical resource, will be taking over all operational duties. He will be expanding the number of teams so that he can be more hands-on with the customer base as his strengths lie in his technical ability and service ethos.

Another development is that as of June 2019, the company will also be a Level 1 BEE compliant supplier.

ERA Holdings has also invested in the company. They specialise in small business consulting with a focus on administrative improvements and top-line growth.

“This will give us access to their staff complement, customer base and their product sets which means that Lutron can now offer high-end audio-visual systems from video conferencing, projectors, boardroom installs and installed audio,” says Marc Atkinson of Lutron SA.

Initially they will be coming into the company to assist with administrative duties. Expect reduced quotation turnaround times and better controls over systems and procedures.
