Sad state

Chantelle Donald and Wendy Millward were part of a group who wandered around what is left of the historic 100-year old St Elmo’s Convent in Umzumbe recently. Chantelle says, ‘It is devastating to see it in this state’.

Wendy Millwary (left) and Chantelle Donald were saddened by the state of the abandoned historic St Elmo’s Convent in Umzumbe.

Lightning trip

Recently-engaged couple Chris Polinski and Melissa Deane spent a few days catching up with family in Ponta Malongane in Mozambique. It was a well-deserved, awesome weekend away and they are already back and hard at work.

Elusive shoal

Let’s hope that a second shoal of sardines will land on the Lower South Coast. Your scribe is personally holding thumbs and can’t wait to savour some delicious fresh sardines.

Hip, hip hooray
