Little dudes and dudettes treated on Mandela Day
It was a fantastic morning for the children, as they were treated to face painting, a jumping castle, gifts, lunch and a surprise visit from the friendly Caltex bunny.
The dynamic team from Caltex Garage, Umtentweni left the children of Little Dudes and Dudettes playschool in Sea Park with happy memories on Mandela Day last week.
Linda Ndlovu, the manager of the garage, said the future of the country lies with our children, and if we teach them to love each other from an early age, this country will be a better place for everyone.

Mr Ndlovu bases this on the famous quote by former president, Nelson Mandela.
“No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.”
“We are a business in a residential area, and it’s important that we do our little bit for the community,” he added.

The principal of the school, Lirene Smit said the initiative by Caltex Umtentweni was amazing.
“In the 12 years the school has been here, no one has approached us and done anything for us. Thank you, Caltex Umtentweni and all the sponsors who made this possible,” she said.
