Umzinto lass makes her mark as Glow TV Miss UniWorld SA second princess
The final took place at Sibaya Casino last Saturday, and to add to the excitement, the announcement of the winners was televised.
TAMARA Moodley of Umzinto did herself and her community proud when she was crowned second princess in the Glow TV Miss UniWorld South Africa 2019 pageant.
The final took place at Sibaya Casino on Saturday, July 27.
Tamara was the youngest finalist and represented the mid-South Coast community with poise and dignity.
“The journey has been phenomenal. It just shows that hard work and perseverance is the key to success,” said Tamara.
“I live for the memories made, especially with my Uniworld sisters, they’ve made this experience one of a kind with the sisterhood we’ve developed.”
She is currently a matric pupil at Umzinto Secondary and managed a good balance between her school and pageant work.

A glowing Tamara said she had not only made many friendships through the pageant, but was able to engage more with the community and take on quite a bit of charity work.
“I will continue all my community projects and assisting the needy in any way I can. This title provides me with a bigger platform to reach out to many more people, as well as develop and enhance myself and my capabilities,” she added.
“The journey does not stop here. I am a part of the UniWorld organization and together we’re planning many big initiatives and will definitely escalate the UniWorld brand to new heights.”
