Dance club gives back to community

Several thousand rand was raised.

AFTER hosting a very successful Zumba fitness breakfast for Women’s Day at the Blue Marlin Hotel earlier this month, members of the Ultimate Dance Fitness (UDF) club generously donated the proceedings to abused women and children.

Several thousand rand was raised at this event and handed over to the District 49 child and youth care centre, as well as to GJ Crookes Hospital.

Representatives from the organisations showed great appreciation for these donations and a huge ‘thank you’ went to Shereen Paul and her UDF team for making this event possible, as well as to all the women and children who supported them on the day.
