Margate Primary’s athletes competed at the inter-house athletics meeting held last week.
Hammond house emerged victorious and won both the inter-house trophy and the relay cup.
Reid house came second and Mitchell placed third.

Records were broken by Enye Vundle in the 800m and 150m events and Mitchell Boys in the U9 relay.
Congratulations to Mihlali Gcaba and Kuluyolo Bara for winning the senior victor and victrix ludorum titles.
Luyolo Goqwana won the junior victor award and Aphelele Gumede and Thandolwethu Sokhela tied for the junior victrix titles.
Mitchell house won the teddy bear.
The school thanks coaches for organising a great day and all staff and teachers for their invaluable help.
