The church’s congregation recently had a Sunday service with a difference. Just before the sermon was due to begin the organist started playing the `Wedding March’ and bride Leilanie Mare walked down the aisle to join Jurie Snyman, who was waiting for her at the altar. They exchanged their wedding vows with the parishioners as their witnesses, and after the service, everyone was invited to a festive tea to celebrate the nuptials. Both Leilanie and Jurie had been widowed, and their church family is delighted that they have found happiness together and chose the congregation to share their happy day.
