The number of women being raped and murdered seems to be constantly on the rise.
FIRST off, many thanks to Umdoni Municipality for the work done on the damaged section of Marine Terrace in Scottburgh.
We reported this just last week and in no time, the holes were filled, making driving on that road a lot easier.

As you may be aware, there have been a number of xenophobic attacks and a spike in gender-based violence throughout the country of late.
The number of women being raped and murdered seems to be constantly on the rise.
In a bid to help keep women safe, Practical Combatives (a gym focusing on real life combat) is offering a free two-hour session for women only at its premises in Scottburgh on Saturday, September 21 from 8am to 10am.

This is also on Saturday, September 21, starting at 8am.
You will be able to pre-register at Scottburgh Mall this Saturday, September 14 between 8am and 2pm.
Entry is R10 per person for the walk, R20 per person for the run and R100 gets you a race pack.
