Griffendore Primary focuses on child safety

Learners were reminded that every child has the right to feel safe, valued and heard.

Griffen Dore Primary observed Child Protection Week with a variety of educational activities aimed at promoting the safety and well-being of all learners.

Learners were taught about the importance of protecting themselves from situations that may place them at risk and were encouraged to identify trusted adults they can turn to for help and support.

Classroom discussions focused on children’s rights, personal safety, bullying prevention, cyber safety and the importance of treating others with kindness and respect.

Learners were reminded that every child has the right to feel safe, valued and heard.

Child Protection Week provided an opportunity for the school community to reinforce the message that protecting children is everyone’s responsibility and that together they can create a safe and nurturing environment where all learners can thrive.
