After much debate, consensus was reached and Andrew Davies was deemed to have the best voice.

An overjoyed Andrew told the Herald the most obvious way to win a karaoke competition was by being able to sing.

“The better you sing, the better the chance of you winning. However, a beautiful voice is not always the ‘winning’ element. Keep in mind that you are singing karaoke, meaning the main point for everyone in the room (including you) is to enjoy the moment.”

Owner of Blue Waters Pub and Grill Sandra Schoeman encouraged the six contestants ahead of the show and advised them to read their audience.

Tweezie Fourie took third place. 0204vee

“Are they in a party mood or do they just feel like chilling? At the same time, choose a song that fits your voice because not only will it be easier to sing, but you won’t feel too intimidated about performing.”

Second place went to Jacques Jooste, third to Tweezie Fourie, fourth to Shane Baker, fifth to Chantel Kimmince and sixth to Ronel Vermeulen.
