Hlanganani explores hospitality

Hlanganani Preparatory School was delighted to be hosted at Kapenta Bay Hotel on two consecutive mornings last week.

Gr 2 classes enjoyed a tour of all aspects of the hospitality industry from room preparation to the kitchen and conference rooms last Wednesday.

Pupils were able to get an insight into the entire operation and then enjoyed a hearty breakfast and some fun in the play area.

Hlanganani Preparatory prefects (back, from left) Mpendulo Nkandi, Sphesihle Ngcobo, Silusapho Tsitsa, Ngcobo Slindokuhle, Owami Cele, Amahle Qumbisa, Amanda Dladla, Noluthando Gumede, Amanda Gambushe, (front) Nhlanzeko Gumede, Sinowethu Mjweni, Lonwabo Nzimande, Gracius Macharangwanda, Mhlonishwa Ngwazi and Mthokozisi Ngcungama visited Kapenta Bay Hotel last week to research careers in the hospitality industry.

The hotel generously hosted senior prefects to experience ‘life in the hospitality industry’ as a career last Thursday.

After an in-depth tour, everyone was treated to a delicious lunch.
