Lions treat seniors to Christmas lunch
Guests particularly enjoyed the Christmas carols.
Port Shepstone Lions and Lion Ladies held its 29th annual Christmas luncheon for senior citizens at the Port Shepstone High hall recently.

Approximately 100 senior citizens from the Flower Foundation, Anerley Haven, Mbango Valley, Villa Bruno and other residences in the area were transported to the event by Lion members.
The guests were treated to superb live musical entertainment by Sue Nielson on the keyboard, guitarist John Blewitt and singers Harvey Galliard and Laura Guest who sang Christmas carols and other songs from yesteryear.
They were also served a delicious three-course Christmas lunch prepared by Sheppie Lion Ladies and Santa Clause, (aka Lion Clayton Curnow) presented each guest with a sponsored Christmas gift bag filled with wonderful goodies.
The event was a huge success, thanks to project convener Lion Hilton Horsley and his team of dedicated Lions and Lion Ladies. Port Shepstone Lions are extremely grateful to Port Shepstone High for allowing the Club the use of the school hall and superb facilities. The Lions would also like to thank their various sponsors and helpers for their assistance and support.
