Cracks on highway cause concern – VIDEO
It's not certain what has caused the damage at this stage. The problem has been reported to Sanral.
Reports are in of a large sinkhole forming rather rapidly on the KwaZulu-Natal N2 northbound about 200m past Ilfracombe (near Umkomaas).
It’s believed to be on both lanes on the downhill heading towards Ultra City.
According to other reports on Facebook, the area has been cordoned off.
Motorists are advised to take care in the area, especially over this busy period.
