Carols celebrate the spirit of Christmas
People from all walks of life joined in the festive singing.
Two very festive carols by candlelight services were held recently one in Pelican Road, Albersville, and another at the Merlewood playground.

Organiser, Jessie Dicken set up a tree of remembrance at each venue on which messages to loved ones were hung.
Children were treated to sweets.
And in a festive season gesture of goodwill, food hampers were handed out to the local community.
The weather played along and the carol singing was thoroughly enjoyed.
To make sure everyone was in a festive mood, the venue was festooned with colourful Christmas decor.
