Not so merry Christmas for drought-stricken Harding
It's been an extremely trying time for the Harding community.
DESPITE some recent rains, the drought situation in Harding and surrounding areas has not relented.
Ugu said the Harding plant was now closed due to the extremely low water levels.

Fitters are in the Harding dam and the submersible pump is ‘sitting in mud’, said a spokesman for Ugu District.
However, the Weza emergency line will be opened to sustain St Andrews Hospital.
The community in general, including the business sector, will have to be receive water from tankers.
Residents are urged to save every possible drop.
