Norwegian Settlers’ Church in hosted its annual Christmas Carols evening recently.
Aside from the singing, led by mega-talented Lizanne Nair and her equally impressive praise and worship team, there was a whole lot of fun watching the young children enjoy being part of the nativity scene.
It was an impromptu effort, with a number of visiting youngsters playing a role, even if they only arrived that night.
Not all of it was exactly to the Biblical script – with some of the children forgetting their roles at times – but the message of the birth of Christ still came across, and it was a time to celebrate and enjoy a time of fellowship.
