Professor Anthony Forbes will answer the question 'where have all the birdies gone?'

The question then arises, is there some sort of control and which controls which?

At the same time there are other species which may be influenced by the interactions between the prey and the predator. It is indeed a complex situation.

Professor Forbes will take everyone to selected places around the world and back to Durban bay to answer the question, ‘where have all the birdies gone?’

He is the director and lead scientist at Marine and Estuarine Research, a consulting company dedicated to the specialist assessment of the marine environment. He is also an honorary professor of UKZN where he lectured in the Department of Biology from 1974 to 2005.
